Privacy Policy

We are Platform45, and we take your data privacy very, very seriously. We want you to know that we’re not in the business of selling, renting or swapping email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. It’s just not our thing.

This Privacy Policy gives you all the details on when and why we collect your personal info, how we use it, the few occasions that we might disclose it to others, and how we keep it safe.

If you fill in a form on our website, we collect personal information. We use that information: to tell you about what we do at Platform45 and some of our projects, to contact you if you’ve asked us to provide you with information, like a cost estimate, and every now and then, to check that you’re happy with our services. We’ll never share this information that you have trusted us with to another party.

When someone visits www.platform45.com we use Google Analytics to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns, like your IP address and which pages you visited on our website. We do this to find out how we can make our website better, and this info is processed in a way which does not identify you directly. We don’t make, and don’t allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of people who visit our website.

We do use MailChimp to deliver our newsletter, which we don’t send out all that often. When we do, we gather stats like how many times our email was opened to help us improve our newsletter. For more info, you can read MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails.

Your personal data belongs to you and you alone. You can view, amend, or delete any personal information of yours that we hold. Email your request to hi@platform45.com anytime, and we’ll respond swiftly.

We may make changes to this Privacy Policy every now and again, so please check back here regularly. This version was updated in June 2019 and is in line with GDPR requirements.

Always Active
These items are required to enable basic website functionality.
Marketing
These items are used to deliver advertising that is more relevant to you and your interests. They may also be used to limit the number of times you see an advertisement and measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. Advertising networks usually place them with the website operator’s permission.
Personalization
These items allow the website to remember choices you make (such as your user name, language, or the region you are in) and provide enhanced, more personal features. For example, a website may provide you with local weather reports or traffic news by storing data about your current location.
Analytics
These items help the website operator understand how its website performs, how visitors interact with the site, and whether there may be technical issues. This storage type usually doesn’t collect information that identifies a visitor.
